Butterfly Dash & Discovery Day
[Mid-May] Tours and activities for kids and adults! At the hands-on and interactive booths there are opportunities to learn about so many of our agency, organization, and plant and animal partners in conservation.
[Late March] Birding, tours, hikes and more! Register early, enjoy the cranes and other wildlife, and learn more about the natural history of the Columbia Basin.
[Mid-Late April--close to Arbor Day] Booths and activities for all ages! Hosted by the Yakima Area Arboretum, visitors learn about all things trees, forests, and native plants.
Yakima Earth Day Fair
[Late April--close to Earth Day] How many 'R's' in 'Sustainability? Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot, Replant, Respect, Refuse, Replenish, Rethink, Repair, Reinvent, Recover, Responsibility, Restore... Come learn about the organizations and businesses working to promote sustainably in our communities.
